Soulful Immune Booster
When flu season knocks you off your A-game (think sore throat, coughing, clogged sinuses, aches and pains) this badass superfood mixture will have you back on your feet in no time!
This recipe is a staple in my kitchen, not only because of how delicious it is, but also for it’s super immune boosting effects. Aside from being an immune boosting powerhouse this quick & simple home remedy is more than just medicional. I also like to use it as a marinade (IE: for chicken, shrimp, roasted chickpeas) or added into salad dressings for that extra boost of flavour.
8-10 cloves of garlic
approx 1kg of raw, unpasteurized honey

✨HOW TO MAKE THE MAGIC ✨
fill the mason jar 2/3 way with raw honey
peel, chop/press 8-10 cloves of garlic and add to the honey
store in cool, dry place for 3-10 days, flipping jar upside down 1x per day to mix evenly (the longer it sits, the more medicinal the honey becomes)
strain garlic from honey and store in fridge for up to 3 months
honey to be stored in cupboard for up to 6 months

maintenance and prevention: 1 tbsp/day
feeling under the weather: 1tbsp every few hours until symptoms subside
